Today, an old song, made new. Having played “What I Came Here For” at countless shows over the past few years, it has been the catalyst for conversations with a humbling number of people who have shared with me the reasons why they have connected with this song. In turn, it has been a perpetual reminder for me about how intensely music can connect us to each other, and therefore helped me to remember why I started writing songs in the first place. In celebration of that, alongside a team of incredible people I decided to take a second glance at this song. I hope you enjoy this through and through, thank you for listening, as always.
